Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Prep+ (the "Service"), operated by the operator of Prep+ (currently an individual based in the United Kingdom). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are provided for transparency and are not legal advice. Please review them before relying on them.

1. Who can use the Service

Accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. Children do not create their own accounts; the parent adds child profiles and is responsible for what is shared on their behalf.

2. Your account

  • You agree to provide accurate information when signing up.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and parent PIN confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.
  • Please tell us promptly at hello@elevenplusprep.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, redistribute or resell our question bank or other content.
  • Use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate others.
  • Attempt to break, probe, or interfere with the security of the Service.
  • Use the Service in a way that breaks the law or these Terms.

4. Free for kids — paid features for parents

Practice for children is free. Optional paid features for parents — such as advanced reporting and focused practice recommendations — are coming soon. When they launch, pricing and billing terms will be presented before any charge is made.

The Service is a study and practice tool. We do not promise that using the Service will result in a particular exam result, school offer, or place at any grammar or independent school.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and question bank, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your family's own learning.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the information you submit (for example, your child's display name, target schools, and practice answers). You grant us the licence we need to operate the Service, which includes storing, processing and displaying that content back to you.

7. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change or remove features, run maintenance, or pause parts of the Service. We try to give notice when changes are significant.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, we exclude all implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any exam outcome, missed deadline, or school admission decision. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against reasonable claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or pose a risk to the Service. Deletion of your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material we will let you know by email or in the app. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
